Supporting entrepreneurs and innovative women in the culinary arts by showcasing the Austin area’s top chefs and bartenders while benefiting The Junior League of Austin
The Junior League of Austin (JLA) proudly kicks off Women’s History Month with the ninth annual Austin Entertains: A Night to Sip and Savor on March 6, 2025. The event showcases the Austin area’s top chefs, bartenders, spirit purveyors, winemakers and industry leaders while benefiting The Junior League of Austin.
Participants are invited to apply for one of the Austin Entertains fellowship awards which help further their educational, business, and professional development. Since 2020, eight participants, including Jen D. Rodriguez (3 Small Plates Catering), Michelle Dayon (Michelle’s Patisserie), Elisia Velasquez (Teddy V. Patisserie), and Krystal Craig (Intero Restaurant), have received a total of more than $67,000 in awards.
The Austin Entertains fundraiser is proud to spotlight one of JLA’s signature programs, Food In Tummies (FIT), which combats food insecurity in East Austin and the Del Valle Independent School District. Last year, Austin Entertains raised over $88,000, which is equivalent to 17,500 bags of food.
